• Payment information: we do not store card numbers, UPI details or bank credentials. Payments are processed by Razorpay, our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We store only the payout details required to settle creator payouts.
• Content: prompts you publish, descriptions, tags, cover images, and prompts you save or purchase.
• Usage data: prompts you view, save, buy and sell, transaction history, and wallet/earnings records.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and log data collected automatically.

2. How we use your information

• To operate and maintain your account, display your profile, and deliver the marketplace experience.
• To process purchases, subscriptions and creator payouts, including fee calculations and tax records.
• To personalise prompt recommendations, search results and the content you see.
• To communicate with you about your account, transactions, service updates, and support requests.
• To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To improve the Service through analytics and to meet legal, regulatory and tax obligations.

3. Payments & data sharing with Razorpay

All payments on Promptly AI are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay"). When you purchase a prompt or subscribe to a plan, your payment details are transmitted directly to Razorpay under its own privacy policy. We receive only the transaction outcome (e.g., payment ID, order ID and status) needed to unlock your purchase. We never see or store your full card or UPI credential details.

Creator payouts are settled by transferring funds to the bank account you register with us. Payout records, including the amount, fees and status, are stored to comply with Indian accounting and GST requirements.

4. How we store and secure your data

• Your data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase Firestore) in secure data centres with encryption in transit and at rest.
• Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel with appropriate technical safeguards.
• We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS, token-based authentication, and role-based access controls.
• While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use cookies for third-party advertising on this site.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Transaction, earnings and payout records are retained for at least eight (8) years to comply with Indian tax law and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain financial records.
